My Halloween/ Birthday party was a crazy-blast!
We covered the whole gammut of entertainment options with
a smorgasboard of spooky and gourmet delicacies
dancing in the dining room
Appetizers in the garage
A fire pit to warm the candy passer-outters and the Trick-or-Treat-ers
Spooky and silly Halloween decor
A boobie trapped front yard
A marital spat
a dozen or so adorable costume clad children
lollipops stuck to the carpet
good friends
and my Sweet Sister
Running late from an already crazy day the girls never got their Halloween Costumes finished, they were troopers and happily joined in all the activities with out a fuss! THANKFULLY we had full costumes and great pictures at Trunk or Treat earlier in the week!
I didn't get pictures of all of my friends OR the cousins OR my sister! What's that all about! I didn't really eat (well except for several stops at the fondue pot) until everyone left - distracted being the host I guess.
Matt spent the day replacing the rotten wood across the entire front of our house - after we discovered the carpets along the front wall of the second floor were completely soaked and starting to sink!!!! We sure are greatful that he knew what to do to fix it all up!
We finish up with some fun photos from an afternoon adventure exploring the countryside in Wentzville experimenting with the new lens I got for my birthday.

It has been a fun filled month - but hopefully November will be a little less fun filled!
