Funnies

Trashy Fun
I brought home several cute red trash cans that I found on clearance. Those nasty things need replacing every now and then. The girls found them 1st thing in the morning and after screaming "A New Twash Can - Yeaaaa!" they began to load them up with their personal belongings and toting them around the house. No harm done, as they had not yet been used. A while later as Isabel set about to do her business in the bathroom I heard her exclaim: "Come here quick Alex I found another one!" She had found the final new trash can in the bathroom. Why do we buy toys?

Izzy's art show
We did not as promised video the "Art Show". Which is a shame as it was classic. We hung a string across the bay window - maybe 10 feet or so across - then hung all her art work on it with clothes pins. Friday night during game night (we had 3 other families over for food and fun) she asked me if it was time and I said sure. So, she got herself a small chair, a pointer and her toy microphone and said "Everybody welcome to my art show. These are all the art projects I do at school and I can tell you how to do them if you want me to." She then proceeded to tell us in deliberate and great detail the meaning of each picture, its colors and how it was made. After about the first 7 pictures (out of 32) we were starting to get a little antsy. So... to move it along I suggested, "Izzy tell us about this one right here!" and I pointed to a picture about half way down. Izzy in her usuall "I am a great and strong leader sense of diplomacy" said: "We will get to that one in a little bit Mommy, please sit down and be patient!"
Well! I Never. Hmmmm... so a few minutes later I try a slightly different tactic. "Isabel would you tell us which one is your favorite?" to which she promptly replied ... "we already talked about this Mom, can you please be patient!"
At least I know she listens to me - since she can mimick me so well!

psst follow me
Alex's "thing" of the week. She says "psst, Mom, follow me" and takes me someplace secretly, like: to watch tv, get chocolate milk, look out the window, etc. It's cute.

Boobs, Moles, and personal property
Alex's other "thing" that I keep thinking will go away... She thinks I am her own personal property. She really likes to investigate my moles and will push me, pull me, crank my neck, etc. any which way she deems necessary to be able to get a better look at her favorite moles! I think I need to talk to my Derma Dr. and get some work done! Thats not the worst of it though. She has the same facination with boobs and thinks she can look, poke, touch or talk about them when ever she pleases! Geez Louise!
