Our neighbors found a dog in their garage last night - it was making their dog crazy!!!! They walked the neighborhood for 2 hours with no results & then we agreed to let him stay in our yard. He was so sad kept looking out across the yard and whining - and looking in the house longingly. When we finally let him in he snuggled on our laps, offered his paw repeatedly and was generally very sweet! He tried to sleep but was restless, lonely and sad. So, Becca slept on the sofa and he slept on the floor sweet and soundly. This morning we were waiting for it to warm up a little before taking him for a walk - but animal control came very early. They said he lives really close to us but they couldn't tell us any info - so unless we end up running into him someday on a walk, we'll never know his name. Regardless he was a wonderful house guest and a good trial to see if we are ready for a dog of our own.
