Found this sweet baby bunny by the side of the road - so we took it home to show the girls, took some pictures and took it back to the area where we found it. Found the mother, but the girls kept scaring her off. Finally found a safe spot and left the little bunny where his mother could find him. The web says: baby bunnies feed once in the morning and once in the evening for a total of 5 min per day. At dusk the mother returns to the area of the nest and will call to her babies, gathering them in for the night.
He sure was a cutie!
Wow! Only five minutes in the morning and in the evening? My garden would beg to differ. I guess they make quick work!
