We almost blew it off because we were pretty stressed out tonight - AND - Izzy wasn't acting like she felt right, but we pulled it all together and BOY are we glad we did!
The Director and the teachers put together the CUTEST movie of the kids activities all year! That was great to see some of the activities parents weren't invited to.
We were REAlly looking forward to watching them perform the Chicken Dance! But they cut it from the program, bummer! That is like a Kettler tradition I was going to blog the video and everything.
Okay but the best part....
What is your favorite thing to do at school: Art - No surprise there
Who do you admire most? Mia, because she never cries at school!
What do you want to be when you grow up? A horse doctor! - Go Izzy! Really not a surprise there either.
So, the other kids gave answers like when I grow up I want to be a Princess Fireman, or I want to be Spider man and drive a monster truck! Great stuff.
The clincher was the who do you admire. ALL of the girls in the class said
Isabel Secor!
By the time Mrs. Keller got to the 3rd girl with that answer, you could hear her take a breath and giggle before she said, again, Isabel Secor.
Now this whole time Alex is dying because she wants to give Izzy a hug SOOOO BAD! I had told Alex that when they said "Isabel Secor" then we could go up and take her picture.
So, everytime Mrs. Keller would say that another classmate admired "Isabel Secor" - Alex would scream, Isabel Secor !?!?!?!?! In her cute, raunchy, wicked witch of the west voice, and then everyone would turn around and look at us.
I am so thrilled with this preschool! I am glad that they provide a well balanced curiculum, in a spiritual environment and they are truly so thoughtful, they make everything so special and unique. I am thrilled that Alex gets to go next year, I am not ready for Preschool to be over yet!!!
Izzy is so Amazing! I love her, she is so smart and just awesome! I am glad you went. You so would have regretted it if you didn't. That's so cool that all the girls love her so much. Who couldn't? She is adorable in her little cap and gown. how fun.
ReplyDeleteYay for Izzy! What a milestone! Can you believe our kids are going to KINDERGARTEN next year? Woah!
