When I try to recruit readers for my blog I am often asked "what is your blog about ? "
It started out as a place where I ran my mouth - thus the ramblings. Most of my early ramblings were rants and raves - there were a few however that stood out to me as "good writing" or maybe "creative writing" would be a better classification.
I am realizing however, how much of my blog tends to be about animals and nature. A good part of my life truly is dedicated to preservation, education and living among nature. I have posted several animal rescue stories with one more on the way, and then there are the bird reports, the owl reports, the sightings etc..
Ultimately I guess my blog is just about me. A day in the life of me and all the things that make me tick, blow steam, or go googlie eyed.
That being said, here is a picture of the baby turtle that Lisa and my Dad found while out on a walk. Just hatched and headed towards its new home by the pond they found him trying to cross the road where his sibling did not fare so well. He came home with them for a short visit and a photo session before we found him a safer place at the edge of the pond. He sure was a looker!
