Our celebration of this monumentous event took us to downtown St. Louis.
The Hill - Italian District - to be exact. Dinner at Cunnetto' was delicious - Spaghetti, Ravioli and Tirimasu, mmmmm.
Next, we took a short jaunt through Forest Park. Meandered down Forest Park Parkway and ended up at, the mall where we took in our favorite store, LUSH, and discovered some others that had been in hiding like Janie and Jack - the best place to oogle amazingly adorable 1/2 pint size clothing. Makes me want to buy baby clothes just to look at them. Maybe I should start collecting dolls or something. We saw a guy get arrested - he tried to toss his loot over the railing but the cops were waiting below to catch it. They threw the cuffs on him and that was that. Now at 11:00 Matt is nearly in dreamland and I am not far behind. Times sure have changed!
That was a sweet video you made! It was fun to see those old photos!
ReplyDeleteAnd wow, your girls look so much alike, I can't get over it! And now they're so grown-up!!!
I am glad you had a fun time last night. I didn't even think that you were out for your date when I was talking to you. I'm off in la la land.
ReplyDeleteI love that picture of the stone wall and the iron gate. What a perfect setting for a picture. That isn't the one with the birds in it is it? cause I can't see them if it is.
