A lovely evening at the Olde Tyme Country Picnic
The crowds were nice and light after a rainy day
The air was cool and calm
Rides, booths, park, yummy food and great music all make for perfect summertime fun!
Our only let down was the Fireworks. They were scheduled for 9:30. We waited in our perfect spot for 35 minutes! The girls fell asleep. The world was quiet. No fireworks!
BUMMER! This was the perfect opening last year to a crazy fireworks season. 2007 we saw Fireworks 5 times! If you want to experience the ambience of a battle zone, hose your self off and put on your gas mask and then come sit on our front lawn on July 4th.

What a fun time. My kids were jealous and asked if they could go there when they saw the pictures. Too bad about the fireworks.
