So, Monday night at Family Home Evening (FHE) Isabel asked if she could have a minute before we started. She then proceeded to show us these cards she had made....
after a lengthy explanation we were able to determine that we were each to draw a card as a means of selecting our chores for the week.

Alex and Isabel each drew cards for washing the dishes - she drew pictures of people washing the dishes.
Daddy drew the card for doing the laundry.
Mommy drew the card for answering the phone when it "beeps". Funny that she would pick that to be a job.
Then she told us that if we did a good job all week we could pick new jobs next week.
NOW I SEE - that the problem all along has been that the wrong people are in charge. Starting YESTERDAY Isabel is the big man on campus and all comings and goings and organizings and such will be headed up by her. Where did I ever get such an amazing little girl from?
When she was 3 - she would say "from the child place". If you ask her now she says "from planet Heaven!" and I know she is right.
Just to toot Alex's horn a bit too....
we finally made it an entire day without a single accident or a pull-up! Even better, no timers, no reminders, nothing! Today she just got up and did it!
