Pictures worth 1000 words

Bet I can easily use up 1000 words here.
Warning, these next 2 pictures are really bad pictures! These were difficult circumstances to be photographing in. Late at night and the house light were out, but the deck was lit up brightly. The camera display blinded me, and as I creeped the door open slowly while trying to keep cats from sneaking out, I peered through my lens directly into the door frame. SO I am frankly surprised I got anything this good.I can only hope I get another chance to play super spy nature photographer with this guy. We have become apathetic to our usual midnight guest -the opposum. So this beautiful Racoon was quite a treat. The night crawlers like to clean up any bird seed remnants that may have been left from the day time bird buffett. I don't mind it as long as they don't tangle with my cats. The neighbors with fish ponds in their yards however hum a different tune.
Here is a lovely fall leaf to break up the bad photography.
Eurasian Tree Sparrow
My Ferral and completely untamable wild, ferocious cat, Stuart. He is one of the 2 cats that think I am their blood mother. Stuart however, is much less PSYCHOTIC about it than Elmo. When Grandma and Grandpa were here this weekend Stuart even got up on the sofa next to Grandpa to sniff him. Truly he will still never quite be a normal cat - but he will always be perfectly amazing to me.
