Now THAT is a good reason to get a day off from school! 6 schools were canceled. All the major roads around our neighborhood were closed. Yet, poor Izzy still had to go to school! Her school is inside our neighborhood so I guess that made it safe! Her school was on lockdown. We didn't let her take the bus. I think they all thought it was exciting - rather than scarry. I locked our doors that's for sure. The next morning after family prayer Alex says "Mom, you forgot to bless the bad guy!". With out being convicted of anything - just crashing a car, running from the cops for hours and then having the brains to use his cell phone, yeah I guess the bad guy needs blessings too. If nothing else it is a good reminder of how comfortable and protected we are in every day running around like busy bee's in our little lives!

Fun stuff. I like your big chalk board with the drink stuff written on it. It would be fun to go on a field trip with the kids. Brandon just had his on Friday to Bridal Cave and I really wanted to go! I guess I will have to just wait until they are all in school.
