Bothersome things and chilly bones

OH BOTHER!
I went to finish slurping my blog, a job I started several months back - and what do I find? They no longer support BLOGGER! Am I peeved or what! OR WHAT! *@#!&*!

CHILLY BONES
Ok so, benefits of getting my bloodsugar under control.
Lost 8 lbs. and counting.
My feet are shrinking
I am ALWAYS COLD now.
Now THAT is the old Becca, always cold in this midwest chill. It was never in my Arizona born blood to get so accustomed to the damp or the chill.
Last winter I hung Christmas lights on the front porch in 20 degree's wearing a tank top and shorts - just to get relief. Today at 44 degree's out I am decked out in sweats, jacket, SOCKS! and sitting by a fire.
UN Believable!

CREEPY CRAWLY
Izzy, with an uncanny sense of bravado discovered a fair sized spider trying to make itself comfy in the crevices of the big, round, red, spinning chair. We looked at it off and on for a while. Shined the flashlight for a while at it. After 15 minutes or so had passed Izzy says to me, Mamma do you know what we do with spiders when Daddy's not home? Shivers ran through me. My hair stood on end. I told her, we do NOTHING. I am thinking of our neighbor TOM, or the hometeachers, or even Lisa's spider catching jar... anything but that.... And then, we looked at the spider was gone. NEVER again will I stick my bare feet in the cracks of any furniture item. Uggh.

  1. That bites! Sorry. I am sure there is something else you can use. That is creepy that the spider dissapeared. It's worse knowing it is there but not knowing where. I don't like spiders in my house. ew! Thank goodness we usually only see them downstairs occasionally.
