Many of you will remember Izzy's Birthday Party last year where we raised money for Twister the Colt and Sissy the Peking Duck at Longmeadow Rescue Ranch.....
Well today we went to a book signing - the Book Twist of Fate - is the story of the tractor trailer accident on I-70 and some of the animals who were rescued, life and animals at the ranch, and finally the story of Twister, who's mother was one of the injured horses -but being pregnant neither she nor her unborn baby were expected to live.
The illustrations are hand painted renditions of the actual farm.
Following the story of Twister has been a really fun adventure for our horse loving family - and we are so excited now to enjoy this book!
