This beautiful DOE and her FAWN

were so

 amazing

the mother looked on while

her curious child edged closer and closer to us

she came within a foot of us

don’t know if she was curious about us or the flash of my camera

either way it was

amazing!

We played at the pool  of course

and watched Izzy make her first race all the way across the pool with out stopping to rest, pulling on the ropes, or walking in the shallow end!  She attributes it to being able to watch her Daddy who was Stroke Judging and walked along the side of the pool egging her on.

  1. It was so fun to be able to do a few things with Heather while she was here. She is really sweet. So sad she was sick! Fun that Lisa got to come! Good luck with the sicko girl!

  2. Hey Becca! Great pictures. It looks like you are having a fun summer. My family is a big fan of Powder Valley, too. Billy & I go on walks there with our niece and nephews occasionally.

Thanks for dropping a note on my blog. Yeah, life has certainly changed! I have polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which made the last three years of baby-making a bit difficult. But, through the miracle of Clomid, it finally happened! And I'm now nearly 17 weeks along, so miscarriage doesn't seem to be probable anymore. We're very excited! We find out if we're having a boy or girl in two weeks, and we're due December 28th. Just in time for the New Year!

Hope you guys are doing well!
