Goodbye 2009

and the silly goals I set...
the only one I can remember was

  • to somehow get my beloved sofa moved upstairs!

Well I did it.
Well actually, Me AND Matt did it.

The thing is - it wouldn't fit through the door, so we left it on the landing.

It is well used where it is... Izzy is sleeping there as we speak.

I have many things
I would like to do in 2010
Here's a few so far...
  • Read the entire General Conference issue before the next one comes out. I've already started Octobers'.
  • Get off -or- significantly decrease my insulin intake (which really means Eat LOTS more veggies, TONS actually, walk, run, play more, chug the water, take my meds, go to sleep at human hours not owl hours)
  • Read more books
  • Teach my kids all the 'ity values. ---- This is from Nov 2009 Ensign -Let Virtue Garnish Your Thoughts by Bishop H. David Burton Presiding Bishop - it wasn't my favorite talk - but as I read it I knew it was what I really wanted to focus on at home.
  • I decided that I want to learn to play the cello. I thought it was going to be the guitar -but- I do think it is going to be the cello. Although we really could have fun as a family playing the guitar. Either way, I don't think that will actually be a 2010 thing....
