A Rambling - It's been a while...

It has been a while since I have let myself ramble or even felt the ramble coming on.
It is 11:45 - well interesting enough it was 11:45 when I got out of bed to come down stairs - and now it is 11:45 again! Tells me something that I didn't know about our clocks!!!

I just finished Fablehaven :Secrets of the Dragon Sanctuary. Great book, each book in the series gets better than the one before. It is amazing to enjoy the cleanliness of good wholesome fantasy and adventure after the book I read previously (Silverhand & Silverlight) seriously - I should have put the other book down, but I didn't.

Now Fablehaven isn't really a thought inspiring I've gotta run and write something kind of book.... But I started reading the questions in the back meant for book clubs and cha ching - that got my mind going.

So, Izzy goes back to school tomorrow after 11 days of being sick and 1 day of getting through the required 24 fever free hours... thankfully we had 2 snowdays and 2 Christmas Break days that kept her missed school days at only 4 instead of 8!

I feel like I my head in stuck in a cloud. The whole world - at least my small piece of it - is back in the swing of things. I still can't manage to get Christmas put away, at least it is moved to one room. As much as I have missed her all year while she is in school - I am ready to get back into the groove of life. Hopefully she feels recharged emotionally from the time we have spent together. There have been many hours spent just holding her or snuggling her to sleep.

So a funny thing well suited for a rambling. Nacho, our orange tabby, is addicted to fuzz. Seriously he has Fuzzdar (fuzz radar). It all started with my bathrobe. It is a light blue oh so soft plush deep fuzz. I can have one arm in the sleeve and Nacho knows it and comes from wherever he is to be ready for a chance to sleep on even a corner of it.

We have a few soft fuzzy blankets that have always been for the sofa but the girls take them to bed with them every night leaving nothing for chilly toes. So, for Christmas I bought us a new living room blanket. Same thing, Nacho sleeps on it. If you sit on the sofa with no blanket, he won't so much as glance you direction. Touch the blanket however and he will be eagerly waiting at your feet to find a spot of his own on the fuzz.

Well, truly my eyes were heavy at 11:45 so I will be done with this nonsense and go to bed like a good girl.

Goodnight world
