The Big News

It's a Seamonkey - It's an Alien - It's a baby ....

Hopefully you can understand what they are saying.

It is apparently NOT possible to speak with out jumping.

Baby is looking REALLY good having passed all the initial measurements

and markers for birth defects and down syndrome.

He very willingly showed us all 4 chambers of his heart, spine, his nasal bone,

kidneys, vessels of the cord and of course all of the private parts.

We also found out that I have placenta previa ...

it is too early to worry about but something to watch for.

I am finally eating again - although right now I feel like walking death -

at least I can eat even though I hate it.

Can't even touch soda - I'd rather drink hairspray.

Peanut butter crackers, eggs, pretzels and water with lemon is my well rounded diet.

Yippee!!!!!!!

Soon I will post a survey about baby names and the infamous

Secor debate of whether or not we should

call him by his 1st or middle name.

  6. A BOY!!! Becca! That's wonderful!!! I just hope that you can make it through the placenta previa. Doesn't that mean you'll be on bed rest during the pregnancy?

  7. It is possible. They don't worry about it a lot just yet. There is a chance it will "move" as the uterus expands it can be pulled up and out of the way. It does mean I am in for extra discomfort which I have felt already. BUT, if it doesn't move then especially towards the end of my 2nd trimester things can get pretty hairy. I'm already high risk being of advanced maternal age (eye roll) AND Diabetic. Guess we'll see.
