I've found the perfect name - it was there all along mixed in the 1000's of names in the book and somehow I skimmed right over it.....

Kermit !!!!

So we love green, we're trying to do better at going green, I have 2 friends with Pseudonyms regarding frogs, we do (well Matt did) collect frogs and we even have a real frog, well a toad.

Isn't it great! No nicknames, no one would ever make fun of a boy named Kermit, right?

Fourteen

years today that is - that we've been married.

For better or worse.

The worse part has got to be this cat - ELMO - who for 14 years (minus 1 week) has insisted on kissing me awake, before the sun has risen, with his drool covered nose/mouth, and who has to sit on me with some part of himself ALWAYS touching my face. If there were more cats like him in this world EVERYONE would spay and neuter their cats!

The best part -well I guess I can come up with a few ....

• the snuggles - even though they seemed to get lost for a few years, and we can't really fit on a sofa together anymore, hands down the snuggles are tops.
• we don't have a ton of things that we love to do together, but we do always get totally addicted to the same t.v. shows, then we rent every season on DVD and watch incessantly.
• the girls. Couldn't have asked for 2 more beautiful, well behaved, fun, interesting and brilliant daughters...

Kinda fun --- - I just told them that it was going to be our anniversary - and they became very upset that they weren't going to have time to find a present. (I wonder what they would get us if they could? Our own supply of silly string? Sour Straws? A trip out to get Icee's?)

We also told them that we were thinking about taking a little weekend away and letting them have a babysitter. (We've never gone away by ourselves and with the baby coming it might be a while if we don't do it now!!!!)

At first there were tears, and "we could never be without you that long". But then several hours later there was, "so who did you say might watch us" and "but tomorrow is your anniversary, you have to go away tomorrow!".

They are so cute and sweet. So we will report back if we pull it off.
