Changes

Changes are in the air
and it freaks me out to SEE it in her face

she is getting older

(less than 6 months until she turns 8)

and THINKS she is getting wiser

she wants to watch BONES with us because she says

she is an ADULT! (yikes)

Every day is her WORST DAY EVVVVEEERRR!!!
and yet, she is learning to say THANK YOU Mom
for little things that happened last week
like driving her places
or giving her 2 dollars to make candles at school



The haircut doesn't help the looking older factor.
It doesn't help that she is so beautiful.
I tell her how beautiful she is and she say's
I guess I am just lucky.

Here is why I love Izzy most of all ...
ALL the other neighborhood kids and Alex are in the otherside of the yard
swinging and jumping on the tramp
and where is Izzy?
She raked up her own pile of leaves and is laying in them pondering the universe.
She is a girl after my own heart.
