Terminology

Matt repaired Alex's doll cradle and I told her that we needed to sand it down before we repaint it.  Later she said "after you put dust on it can I help you paint it?"  I guess dust is a lot like sand after all. 

Crush

During FHE Izzy announced that she thinks Caleb G. has a crush on her (because that has everything to do with the topic on hand ... deciding for yourself what you believe).  The next day I asked her how her crush was going and she proceeded to tell me " I think Scott and Josh both have crushes on me because they won't talk to me anymore, they just act really nervous, but they are the naughty kids in class so that's ok, I also think that Andrew,  Lucas and Curtis have crushes on me too because they are always giggling and acting like you said boys act, when they come around me, oh and I think Gavin is back having a crush on me too.  I just wish they would stop starring at me."  I said to myself, OMG that's like, 1,2,3,4....7!  Crazy!

Against our better judgement...

we let the girls watch our favorite show BONES with us.  Izzy loves all the science and the bones and the mystery, Alex usually falls asleep while the rest of us watch it.  Well then we found it on netflix.  

One day while we were sick, we watched a lot more t.v. than anyone should ever watch in a day.  BUT HEY, we were camped out on the sofa, each with our own box of tissues AND our own trash can!  When I had to take Max upstairs for his nap I told the girls that I didn't want them watching bones while I wasn't in the room and to find something else to watch.  

So, I come back 20 minutes later and what did they choose?  

Dora? Suite Life of Zach & Cody? Spongebob? NOOOOO! 

They were watching Myth Busters!

 NOW they are completely in LOVE/ addicted to mythbusters. 

They cry if we don't let them watch an episode before bed every night 

(Which we don't! So that makes a lot of crying lately)

trying to blow the seeds out of an apple with explosives with out completely destroying the apple
