I should be posting Birthday AND Baptism pictures but since this post is already 3 Tuesdays old - I am going to post it already and be tickled!!!

Tickle Me Tuesday

1. Bar Code Scanning on my i-phone.
I wish I had like 50 prescriptions to scan so I can just keep scanning,
it is so fun, like using the price checker at Target!

2. My backyard
I am more than tickled to the core to be able to photograph a treasure trove of coolness in my own back yard.  The only thing that would have made this picture any more perfect is if the sweet little House Sparrow that was sitting on the branch to the upper right of the bird house had just stayed one more moment for his photo shoot.   This house belongs to a House Wren Pair.  They should be along sometime in May, they are late migrants.  House Wrens are among the class of birds that are ABSURDLY small and in an equally absurd way they are VERY VERY LOUD!!! When you hear a Wren sing, you find yourself looking around for a large bird.  They are not large in any sense. Crazy that Mother Nature!

Splendid though what she does with Spring Flowers!  I love how Spring really does just spring up so suddenly...  the yellow Forsythia blooms and then it seems like it is just days and the whole world is green again, grass, shrubs, trees... just tonight before the storm blew through, I saw the first helicopters come off our tree in the back.  Spring is divine!

Did you know that paisley occurs in nature?
Well neither did I!!!
This tall grass we usually cut back in the fall - so we've never seen it do this.
Since we were birthing babies and such this fall we must have forgotten to do it.
When I spied this in the corner of our yard I was compelled to leave behind a few semi important things I was dealing with to get this photographed.
 Very Very cool

Finally the thing that is TiCKLing me the most today is my MAX and it is killing me that I can not upload the video of him escaping from his swing!  So if you have not seen it - look back in my face book posts and find it - you will die laughing.  It is CRAZY!!! So, the story is - he was having a horrible time getting to sleep with all the moving around he does, so I decided to put him in the swing.  I laid down on the bed to work a little on the computer while he tried to doze.  After a while it caught my attention that the swing was no longer making noise... when I looked up I saw his 2 feet on the ground, his little white onesie clad bum sticking out and all of his blankets on his head.  He wasn't upset or crying or anything, just determined to get out!!!  How he flipped over to his tummy and slid out that far with out me hearing him is beyond me... but it sure was funny!
Ok, here's hoping this video works!

Wordy Wednesday

Some may call it wordless Wednesday - but NOT I - wordless is me walking around in life dumbfounded by this thing on my face with 2 lips.  Wordy is my blog where I can make sense of the madness in my mind, and hopefully it makes sense to someone else too.

How can I resist my little man.  He kills me with his cuteness.

So last week he
1) mastered sitting up.
Go Max!

This week he
1) escaped from his swing
2) dumped over his first bowl of cat's water
3) started crawling
4) started climbing over mommy's legs
5) pulled a small table on top of himself
6) wore himself out so much that he fell asleep on the floor while I made lunch

Life as we knew it is no longer.
as my mom so knowingly said
AND SO, IT BEGINS!!!

  2. Ohhh, All that cuteness! That's awesome that you got Max on video.
I want a copy of that top picture to frame and put on Alyssa's wall! I love it! I haven't taken any good spring photo's this year. I'm just not feeling it. I miss all of the trees. We are lacking a little right here in this unplanted desert.
