What's Up With Red?

If you ever thought to ask me
Hey Becca, What's your favorite color?
I would answer with
Green, or Black.
If I had to get down to a 3rd option I would pick purple and 4th would be aqua.
I would be hard pressed to list any other color among my FAVORITES.

However, I discover repeatedly that the color
that seems to be everywhere in my life is
RED

Now why is that?

I do have a lovely green bathroom.
and there is a hint of green mixed in with the aqua in my dining room.
BUT - both of living areas are predominatly browns with a lot of red.
I have red carpets.
I used to have a red kitchen and master bedroom.
I LOVE red dishes
I LOVE red toe nails
I LOVE red poppies
I am DYING to spray paint something red DYING I tell you!

At CHristMaS I spray painted this ....  red .

It was over with all TOO FAST!

I've been thinking of painting my sons table and chairs RED.

SO, I have wondered,

WHAT

IF

my favorite color is really RED?

Don't you think I would know - if my favorite color changed from Green to Red?

Or, from Black to Red?

I don't really feel comfortable saying that my favorite color is r, r, r, re.... ah  happy new year....

Yeah, silly I know

BUT It does make one wonder now doesn't it!
