Our New Nightly Ritual
Checking out the pond... throwing rocks, looking for frogs, and then going for a walk.
Here are some pretty views from different angles.
Just a short walk down the trail near our house and we ran into Mamma and her babies.

The Day the Ducks Came Out
We've had a steady group of about 16 wild juvenille Mallard Ducks.
They don't come to food.
On this day we had wondered why the ducks weren't swimming and thought
they looked awful dark. Later when we threw a pile of crumbs to the yard - they came running.
Ahhhh, that's why they were acting wierd, they were different ducks.
They stayed with us for 1 nigh before moving on.
