So being a mom can get really gross. Imagine this: One super long glob of mucous spewed nearly right into your face. Lucky for you ???? It misses and hits your chin, neck and then slides down all warm and gooey to nestle in your cleavage. Not even a second behind comes its' closest friend - full fledged vomit. Following the trail the former adventurer left behind the warm, chunky spewage slides down with heave after heave, to the cozy spot that lies in wait. UUUGGGHHH!!!
Of course I was still in my Sunday clothes - so I had vomit all over my aqua silk cami, my new Coastal necklace and my shirt and skirt. I asked Matt to help me put my hair up while I changed and he said why bother it's in your hair too. It's been a long time since I've showered with my clothes on!
So, Daylight savings time.... I just looked at the clock and realized it is an hour past when we usually eat dinner! It will be good for the kids to be able to play outside longer, and good for Matt to get more sunlight time after work. I really look forward to being able to work in the yard again too.
Every year though we hold our breath when it comes to nap times, bed times and mornings. The girls have always been such good sleepers and I want no chance of messing that up.
Guess I should think about cooking something. We still have about 3 lbs of smoked pork and chicken in there left over from Matt cooking for the EQ party this weekend, but lordy lordy!!! one can sure eat their limit of barbeque!!!!!
