.......And here she is

Hello everyone,
On Thursday, July 17, M's wife went into early labor, her water broke, infection set in and baby came 10 weeks early. Mom's doing great. will probably come home tonight (Sat).

Baby's improving. On the outside she's a very tiny size of perfect. Inside, her lungs, heart and kidneys and eyes need to develop more. The newest x-rays already show improvement. Lung function is improving daily. Nevertheless, it will be a long hall - 8 - 10 weeks in hospital, most of it in NICU. M has pretty good insurance, but I don't think anyone is ever prepared for something as long as this.

All of our priorities have suddenly changed. M has to go back to work, so while he's at work, we'll be taking turns driving  (she doesn't have her license yet) up to be with baby.
We appreciate everyone's prayers and support.
Also, if you have any ideas on how to deal with everything, don't hesitate to let us know.

Her tiny little fingers will hold your finger. Her eyes are not open, Her head is about the size of a pringles chip lid (sorry that's what was on the table and nearest thing to compare to).
She has dark hair. They said she's actually one of the bigger babies they've had in NICU. The hospital is brand new and is the best in the entire southwest region for neonatal care.
Guess if she had to come early, she's in the right spot.
We'll keep you posted.

Good luck Megan, Your next. Our prayers are with you.

Susan Hastings (My Mom)
