My Mom

......is sweet. She is so dilligent about calling me - even though I rarely call her because I am the worst at calling people on this planet! I love to talk to her and she always knows the cutest fun little things to give me. Last time she came to visit with the family she brought me this Birds and Blooms mega magazine which I had not seen - but it was awesome! We figured out what kind of shrubs we wanted to plant and which ones we should not - plus there were lots of cool tips about birds. She is always very comforting and sympathetic when we are sick or injured. She has been through a lot in her life. I think she is used to being the one that is sick or injured and now all of her family is a mess around her and she is carrying a big load. I always loved that my mom made beautiful cakes, and that she is so sensitive. The girls just adore Grandma Susan and are often wishing they could just jump on an airplane and go to Utah! Happy Birthday Mom! I love and appreciate you. I wish I had a picture of us together from your last visit - but since neither of us like to have our picture taken - you'll just have to imagine us - like Merryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried - in Mamma Mia! If I was there with you mom I would take you to see it.
