Ahhh, there is nothing like Hot Cocoa sipped by a toasty fire
to warm a frosty spirit on a bleak winters day
I ponder the spirit of Christmas
Caroling, family and friends, looking for lights at night with the kids, traditions, stories, piano, violin, holly, cinnamon, delightfully delicious food.
I relish the music that brings Christ into my heart and home
Come they told me pa rum pa pum pum….
I’ve always known the words to this song, but never until I heard it song by Josh Groban –did I FEEL this song…
My tree adorned, gifts laid lovingly at its feet, the halls are decked, the night is far from silent and the stars are hidden behind a blanket of snow clouds.
What gift do I have to offer at the feet of my Jesus
I have no gift to bring ….
Of all the things that I work so hard at, fret so much over, plan, prepare and organize, what of those things truly honor, love or proclaim
my faith,
my love,
my gratitude,
my devotion
to my King?
Shall I play for you….
and we recall the cherished words of
Christina Rossetti
What can I give him
Poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd
I'd give him a lamb.
If I were a Wiseman
I would do my part.
What can I give him?
I'LL GIVE HIM MY HEART
caught up in the hustle and bustle it is easy to neglect the heart
Ever thankful be for
He who is mighty to save.
