It is always great to hear someone’s honest take on your work and very kindly it was noted that I have “refreshing randomness”! Of all the wonderful things said about me/my blog -I appreciate that most as I tend to feel so dull and boring.

My favorite friend blog to read of all time. His posts are filled with raucous humor, witty sarcasm, intellectual perspective, political insight and a gentle balancing dose of family life – specifically from the rare perspective of a father and husband.

He sucks you in every time with a title that makes you want to drop everything and read.

Most every post has me walking away telling someone “hey you gotta read this it is so funny!”

AND – he posts frequently!

2. Megan Tilton @ Live as I See

I love reading Megan’s blog because she is refreshing and because I love Megan and have quite a fondness for her lovely family. She is honest and open even when it isn’t the popular way – she is an amazing cook and a great mother and a highly motivated woman that I really look up to.

3. Megan Hastings @ The Hastings Family

Another Megan in my life is my dear Cousin Sonny’s wife. I don’t know her well in person but feel a strong affinity towards her through her blog. Our families are so similar from our girls to our past times, to our talents and creative outlets, to the things we dislike and the things we stand for. I LOVE her designs, her photography, her creativity. I love her girls! Hers was the first blog I fell in love with, wanting to emulate the look and feel until I was mature enough to begin to carve out a feel of my own.

4. Jill Kirk– Live in The Moment

Jill is another of the original bloggers that inspired me to jump head first into the blogging world. Jill is SASSY and FUN. She introduced me to a whole new idea of blogging with Blog Party’s, prizes, interactive blogging and way cute Blog Design. Jill is my dear sister’s friend whom I have had the pleasure of spending time with on a few occasions in person .

5. Lisa Finley– The Finley's

Last but not least is my dear sister Lisa. She is creative and fun and has the most adorable children – whom I am privileged to call my niece and nephews. She does not get to blog a lot – but I know she wants to. I only wish that I could award her a chunk of time in place of this cute award - we all know she needs it. I love her blog because I love being able to have that connection to her and her family when we can’t be together.
