So the 1st day of first grade went well. She was excited, happy, tired & hungry. It went quickly for Mom - not so much for Alex who really missed her playmate.
It was after school that the bouncing, squealing, rambunctious little things got carried away hopping out the front door and poor Izzy got it slammed into her head - and we ended up in the emergency room.
The pictures are all post-emergency room so she doesn't look as frightening as she did at first. BUT, there is no way you would have wanted to see that. We / They cleaned her up A LOT!We've never done head wounds around here, we try to stick to hands and arms and ribs, so I had no idea that they bled so profusely.
But all is well and not even a single stitch!
AGhhhh! Poor Isabel!! That is so sad. So happy and to be interupted by such pain. ugh. Glad there was no stitching involved. I remember Brandon's head and how much it bleed from that tiny but deep cut, when he had to get it glued Christmas Eve. Give her hugs from us.
