A Catch up Rambling - more like a mosey

Sweetie Sweet!
Putting groceries away - I heard a rumbling up and down the drive way
VVVooom Voom he was pushing his wagon up and down SUPER FAST!
I helped him unfold the handle and then he pulled it all over the yard and cul de sac.
It was one of the things he got for Christmas - I just knew he'd love it when he was ready.
I guess today he was ready!

WHAT I AM DOING UPDATE

IN 4 WEEKS
I will be old enough to go to Nursery and stay with out a parent!
I reviewed my BUCKET LIST of things all toddlers must do during church before being allowed to go to Nursery - AND the only thing left on my list was to play the piano during the prayer.....

CHECK!!!!
list complete!

CHOCOLATE DRIZZLES
snack attack and a mostly empty pantry lead us to experiment with something we saw online

MELT chocolate chips with real butter, being careful not to scorch
A DOUBLE BOILER WOULD
BE GREAT IF YOU HAVE ONE
We just put a small pan over another
pan with water in it. It's messier.
SPOON the chocolate into a pastry bag or plastic baggie
LINE a cookie sheet, plate or  your counter with waxed paper
while you wait for it to cool
when it is cooled enough
to handle but is still warm
DRIZZLE it into shapes and patterns on waxed paper.
MOVE to fridge or freezer to set and store
SERVE alone for chocolatey goodness
or
WITH ICE CREAM

Its amazing how much yummier the chocolate was with butter!  So good!

Little Man
has been progressively LESS HAPPY with his high chair.  It dawned on me one day that maybe he is ready for something a little more big-boy-ish.  So we scooted the homework baskets to the side and pushed up a kids chair to the bench - giving him his own Little Man lunch table!  He loved it!

EGG CUPS
Mmmmm...
Spinach, Onions, Mushrooms,
sauteed slow in coconut oil
then added to the muffin tins.

Bottom Layer - 1/4 piece of bread
Middle - Toppings
 (Topping Ideas: onion, spinach, mushrooms,
cheese, ham, bacon, salsa)
Top - Pour Beaten egg into each section, leaving
a little room at the top for the eggs to rise

WARD VALENTINES DAY FAMILY DANCE!
We all had so much fun!  Even Max! He loved the music and dancing and made friends with a 9 year old girl
who he followed around all night!  We should have paid her since it made so that Mom and Dad actually got to dance together!

CUTE IZZY
after her friends make over party!

I haven't done many pictures lately
- so these are some 16 MONTHS pictures of Max -

PUMA's
are not big cats - well ok they are - but in this reference they are
PUrple MArtin's

This is a Purple Martin House that was in sad shape in our yard.
Matt and I are going to rebuild it.
Evidently we had better hurry because 2 days ago
they were spotted just south of the Missouri border.

Purple Martin's feed soley on insects and are great to have in your backyard.
WE LOVED the nests in this box.
It is interesting that the nest that LOOKS like a nest - is sideways!
The other nest must have been VERY VERY warm.
I just wonder where they found all the stuffing!
It looks like it came from lawn furniture or a sofa - it is strong dense stuffing.
I would have loved to see the birds flying in with mouths full of that!
I also wonder why they used so much and
didn't feel the need to stop before it got so full!
