So, Izzy has somehow come to the conclusion that her birthday is on Easter. Truly the closest it ever was to Easter was the year she was born ... and she breezed right passed it by taking an extra 2 weeks siesta in my tummy before gracing this world with her presence.
So we finally got out a calendar and looked at the actual dates that Easter and her birthday fall on - it helped a lot with the visuals that Easter is in March this year.
I then pointed out that her birthday is on another holiday however, Earth Day, and that Earth Day is always on April 22nd just like her Birthday is always on April 22nd.
So then she exclaims, "Oh, Earth Day, thats the day Jesus created the Earth! That means it is Jesus's birthday and his birthday is the same day as mine!" and then in a louder and slightly squeakier voice she proclaimed "that means me and Jesus are best friends forever!"
The gospel according to Isabel is always very interesting!
