Getting in the spirit of things ....

with a party at Ms Becca's Preschool We spent a wonderful Thanksgiving with Matts Aunt & Uncle (and God Parents) Dene and Jerry and his cousins Holly, Tony and their families... Unfortunately I took my long lens and didn't get any shots worth sharing (unless you want to watch people swallowing their food close up).
We were pretty much already in the spirit since we let the girls talk us into putting up the lights, tress and the whole shebang the previous weekend.
Since we bought our own turkey we went for Thanksgiving feast #2 the following Sunday - pared down of course... we had turkey, stuffing, mashed pots, sweet pots, gravy and chocolate pie.
All 4 of us cooked in the kitchen together - and had a blast. Izzy was SOOO pumped to have our own feast, and both girls exclaimed in delight REPEATEDLY during dinner about how yummy it all was. WOW! That was sorta unreal!

We made these super cool luminarias by freezing water in a balloon.
They were so pretty!
This was our 1st Santa sighting at the PAT activity on Nov 30th. Alex is dressed in clothing relating in no way to Christmas so as to assure her I was not going to make her see Santa.

One of many futile attempts to get a cute class picture.
This is 6 of our class of now 8.
This is Santa telling Izzy she can have a dog for christmas!!!
Santa, a word please!!!

This is the children attempting to sing at the Ward Christmas Party -
Izzy is hidden behind children, good thing because she was talking!

This is as close to Santa as Alex may ever get!
And yet another Santa tells her she can have a dog for Christmas!
My Beautiful Isabel
and my beautiful Alex
with our beautiful daddy
and a little one that is fed up with Mom and her camera!
This is like 100 of our closest friends at the Gonthiers annual caroling party
I'm getting a little better at the night shots
